Many people believe that it’s not possible to be platonic friends. In few cases guys and girls can be the best of friends but in other cases any truly platonic relationship is out of the question. It also to an extent depends on what basis the friendship started, whether or not there is a physical attraction involved be one sided or mutual, and on their individuality.

Some times its gets to you with only girls- just shopping and all the gossiping and when we are really need a break, I think hanging out with a guy friend, discussing politics, sports or anything under the sun can be interesting as well.

I seriously recommend that if we want to start going out with a guy, first introduce him to all your guy friends. I have a lot of guy friends who are just friends, and I think it’s great to have a guy around who is not your boyfriend, lover or brother but is still protective of u and its easy bein with a guy and knowing he’s not hitting on you. Its safe because guys know immediately if this other guy is all bullshit or if he is genuinely nice.

I believe why cross over from friends to something else and risk losing a good friend because your friend can also play a key role in helping you to “network” and find available men among his acquaintances for your next romantic relationship and vice versa.
When a friend is your friend, they will always there to help, advice and more importantly he can always discuss with a woman what he may not be able to share with his guy friends.
